About the project
Phoenix Point combines tactical combat with a substantial strategic layer and a large amount of interface-driven gameplay. I worked on bringing its PC systems to Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
What I worked on
- Ported UI systems to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
- Investigated performance and UI-related bottlenecks.
- Fixed critical bugs affecting stability on console hardware.
- Reduced the number of platform-specific issues through focused testing.
- Supported the adaptation of PC-oriented systems for controller input.
The project required careful debugging across interconnected UI and gameplay systems, where small platform differences could affect the whole player flow.
